Northwood Memorial Ceremony

Never forgotten SFC Callahan and PFC Mason. Two names I was able to find easily of two soldiers I served with who died too young. I wish I had more time at the Memorial to research more friends that were lost.


Looking back at my life the past 20 years in the US Army seems surreal. It was good to see how much this memorial helps the community as well as myself. There wasn't a dry eye in the audience even my teenage daughter was moved. She hugged me and told me she was so happy am I alive when she learned about the many sacrifices our US Military and their families.


I hope the Irvine City Council can hurry up and get the veterans cemetery approved and start building it. Whatever site is chosen, please just get it done.
